Elle is a striking mare, she moves brilliantly and is very well put together. Her head is very dished and she has large soft pale blue eyes.

A very active mare, she rarely stands still and can often be seen strutting her stuff around the paddocks.

Elle is very clever, she learns quickly and has a lovely temperament.  She also has a top pedigree, her dam was USA National top 10 as a yearling, before being imported to Australia and her sire is by the lovely stallion Lazy N Red Boy.

Elle is an excellent mother - but she is also good with other foals as well, she shares food with all the babies and on a few occasions I have seen other foals feeding from her.

After 2 foals, we left Elle empty for a break over the 2010 season... Turns out Elle wasn't keen on this AT ALL - as our 2010 babies arrived, she was quite determined to chew her way thru the fence rails to get into our foaling yards - to save her teeth, my fences and the other mare's nerves I had to move her to a paddock away from the babies!

Elle has given us a tiny 17" colt by River in 2011, much smaller then we were expecting :)
We hope to put her to Wizard for a 2012 full sibling to Song.
