"Tex" is a very excitable dog who is ball mad and always on the move.

He was shown a couple of times, but mostly just hangs around 
getting in the way with his ball.

Missy is such a beautiful bitch and it is regrettable that time restraints meant she was never shown.  Miss loves kids and will do anything to get inside for a peak at a baby... the human kind that is.

Sadly Missy never gave us a litter of puppies either... so she has truly been a lady of leisure.

Aust Ch Shirakhan Hachi Ko x Euphamia  Grand Magicmist

With the unexpected and heartbreaking loss of our first Akita "Keg" we eventually decided that the place isn't the same without an Akita to cuddle.

ENTER the lovely Bear... Bear was purchased from Janine of Shirakhan Akitas, with help from Vicki from Tanoshii Akitas.

He is a lovely little fellow, very outgoing and friendly, he has settled right in with our other dogs and started sharing the horses' dinners on his first night here :)

Bear will not be shown as he was neutered as a pup.

Toby was a rescue dog who was on his last day in the pound, he was badly treated as a young pup and is still trying to get over his fears, but his confidence is growing slowly and while it was hindered by the loss of his best mate Keg, he has now taken to Bear and they are inseparable.

He is a gentle soft natured boy but very flighty - he has a load of potential and I hope we can bring out the best in him with more time.

He enjoys spending his days playing with Bear or sleeping on the kids trampoline.
